Armenia – Czech Relations
On September 12 business delegation of state and private sector of Czech Republic by the head of Co-chair of Armenian-Czech intergovernmental commission, Deputy Minister of industry and trade of Czech Republic Mr. Vladimir Bartl visited RA Chamber of Commerce and Industry by the expectation of expanding and intensifying economic relations. As a European Union member state Czech is interested in the future of cooperation with Armenia and the role and involvement of RA Chamber of Commerce and Industry in this context.
Executive Director of RA Chamber of Commerce and Industry introducing thoroughly Chamber functions and foreign relations noted that Armenia will continue the partnership with the European Union countries in case of accession in Eurasian Union. Mr. Bartl pointed out that Czech Republic can be a gate to Europe for Armenia and vice versa. He particularly highlighted the intensification of economic relations with Armenia and cooperation prospects particularly in the areas of industry, agriculture, energy, tourism, science, culture and others.
President of Yerevan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mr. Andranik Aleksanyan specified the establishment of joint enterprises of especially agricultural products in Armenia which can become a transit road to South for Czech Republic.
