The Islamic Republic of Iran was visited by the Chamber of Commerce delegation led by the executive director of the Chamber Andranik Alexanyan  for 2 days workshop from April 18-20. On April 19 in Julfa city Armenian delegation met with the businessmens in the free economic zone "Araz".  The President of  free economic zone "Araz": Moshe Ghadem Arab Baghin speaks about readiness to help in creation of similiar zone in Armenia. Breakout Session

On March 30, the RA Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen of Armenia (UMBA) initiated a discussion with the participation of relevant state bodies and business executives. The subject for discussion was referred to the issue of VAT taxation of reusable containers. On March 17 Executive Director of RA Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mr. Andranik Aleksanyan hosted Deputy Director of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Gilan region of Islamic Republic of Iran and two Advisers of the Embassy of Islamic Republic of Iran to Armenia.
