“Customs Union – Armenia – Cooperation” Forum

On June 6-8 Yerevan Chamber of Commerce and Industry supported by RA Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized “Customs Union – Armenia – Cooperation” 3-day economic forum in “World of Gold” Complex, in Tsaghkadzor, in which managers, businessmen, officials of the companies arrived from different regions of the Russian Federation and managers of the structures concerning to Armenian business, businessmen participated. The forum attended also officials of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic and the delegation of businessmen.

President of RA Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mr. Martin Sargsyan presenting new economic relations of the membership of Armenia the Customs Union characterized as economic development prospect in the Plenary session.

Trade representatives of Armenia and Russia, chambers of commerce and industry of Russian different states, RA Ministry of Economy and other responsible agencies expressed clarifications and opinions in the framework of “Armenian-Russian economic relations: new boundaries for cooperation” subject.

Cooperation terms and other details of joining the Customs Union were discussed and commented during B2B meetings and round table discussions.

President of RA Chamber of Commerce and Industry with Investment Foundation of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic singed an Agreement with which support tools and options will be developed and prepared in the issues of developing Artsakh Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Many Armenian companies were presented by presentations with the new cooperation willingness and foreign relations.

“Russia-Armenia – partnership strategy”, “Development of Medical and Pharmaceutical sectors by Armenian-Russian economic cooperation”, “The certification of goods in Armenia and Russia”, “Processing of agricultural products”, “Construction industry, production of construction materials” and issues of other subjects were discussed in separate sections.
