Armenia – Lithuania
On November 11 a meeting between the entrepreneurs of Armenia and Lithuania was held in RA Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the economic opportunities of Armenia were introduced by presentation during the meeting.
President of Yerevan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mr. Andranik Aleksanyan noted that the trade turnover between the two countries although is small today but there are serious non-used reserves. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Lithuania in Armenia H.E. Mr. Erikas Petrikas, Minister Plenipotentiary of the Embassy Mr. Saulius Valainis and Head of the department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania Mr. Regimantas Jablonskas characterized this meeting as an important starting point which should follow the concrete steps. Afterwards the businessmen discussed coming activities and options of cooperation by B2B format.
There are diverse cooperation sectors – winemaking, meat processing, innovation systems, production of medicinal tea, milk processing, etc.
