The exhibition hall of the Ryazan region of the Russian Federation has opened in Armenia
On February 28, the Meridian Expo & Event Center in Yerevan opened the exhibition of goods and services of the Ryazan region of the Russian Federation, which was implemented with the support of the regional government to expand the scope and volume of cooperation between Ryazan and Armenian businessmen for establish stable trade relations.
The organizers of the program are the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Armenia and Eventcenter company.
Ryazan Deputy Governor Artyom Nikitin mentioned that 62 companies of the region presented about 700 types of products, which will stay in the exhibition hall for two months. The 16 members of the delegation will stay in Yerevan and will fully present the whole range through numerous meetings.
Mr. Nikitin expressed hope that in two months, summarizing the results, we will witness mutually beneficial programs of cooperation.
In his welcoming speech Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of RA Vache Terteryan said – “We want to sign a memorandum of cooperation in the near future, pay a return visit to the Ryazan region”. Russia’s trade representative in Armenia Anna Donchenko used the exhibition hall as a possible starting point for business development, which should be continuous.
The executive director of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of RA Andranik Aleksanyan expressed readiness that the Chamber will support these and other undertakings with its system.
Ryazan region has about 1 million 100 thousand inhabitants, developed infrastructure, active freight routes – hubs, developed economy, due to which Armenian businessmen have serious preconditions for implementing joint projects in food, industry, agriculture, construction materials, healthcare, SS processing, tool making and etc..
There are B2B negotiation platforms in the area of the exhibition hall which is planned to hold video conferences with Ryazan producers.Throughout the project, consultants from the Ryazan Export Center will work in Yerevan, conducting multi-profile business meetings and sectoral interactive presentations.
