Center for International Private Enterprise representatives’ visit

On July 24-26, representatives from Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) had their regular visit to Armenia to discuss the launch of the project “Strengthening Pro-Reform Dialogue” phase 2. CIPE representatives were Natalia Otel Belan (Deputy Regional Director, Eurasia and South Asia), Elizabeth Lenz (Program Assistant, Eurasia) and Carmen Stanila (Senior Consultant). Presentation of the new Customs Code

On March 7, a seminar-discussion on the EAEU Customs Code took place, which came into force On January 1, 2018. Within the framework of public-private partnership, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of RA and the State Revenue Committee of Armenia initiated a business meeting on the new Customs Code. On March 6, Mr. Azemar de Mendonesa Sanctos, ambassador of Brazil to Armenia and deputy ambassador Philippe Ortega visited to CCI of RA. Armenia-Republic of South Africa

On March 5, Mr. Andranik Aleksanayn, Executive Director of CCI of RA, accepted Mr. Christian Basson, ambassador of Republic of South Africa to Armenia. During the meeting were introduced the economic development possibilities. Mr. Aleksanyan mentioned the interests of the Armenian side underlining that Armenia's most competitive product is human factor. Round-table discussions in 5 regions of Armenia

On January and February, 2018, Business Advocacy Network and Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Aragatsotn, Kotayk, Shirak, Tavoush and Lori organized Regional Round-table discussions about Policy of Taxation, Inspection and Small and Medium Enterprise. Armenian-Polish Intergovernmental Commission Session in Warsaw

On February 20, 2018, Armenian-Polish Intergovernmental Commission Session took place in Warsaw, the capital of Poland, which was attended by ambassadors, representatives of relevant departments and business communities of both countries. During the session was organized Armenian-Polish B2G business-forum on the initiative of the Polish Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with the CCI of the RA. On February 6-8, 2018, took place “UAE International Dental Conference & Arab Dental Exhibition” in Dubai. The CCI of RA participated in event with delegation, headed by Mrs. Lilia Gevorgyan, the Advisor to the RA CCI President, President of Women Entrepreneurs Support Foundation.
